Birmingham Visit- July 2011

We had a wonderful time in Birmingham last week, it was our last little visit with family before Baby T #2 comes along! Jet had a blast as always playing with his cousins Bryson & Sydney!! We took the kids to a jumpy place called I Jump one day, and they loved it! Then we spent time with all the grandparents and enjoyed some wonderful fresh veggies out of Nana & Papa's garden....yummy!! We also took the kids to Anniston Museum one day...and they enjoyed checking it all out. The most fun though I believe they had was just playing at the house with each other.....they love each other so much!!

Nursery and Jet's Big Boy Room Update!!

We had a very big week in the Tolbert household this week! Jet's new big boy bed and dresser came in and we made the trasition to his new bed!! I must say we were worried how this would all go, not knowing if he would constantly get out of his new bed during the night. But if there is one thing that Jet is consistent with, it's his love for sleep and his own bed!!!! From the very 1st night we put him in the new bed, he slept as if it was his bed this entire time. :) Such a relief! Now, its only been 5 nights so far....so we won't be bragging too much, LOL but I think we are off to a good start!

Check out his new bed below and his new wardrobe dresser. Emmie is making the bedding/pillows for it from his old crib bedding/bumpers. Can't wait to see it!!! THANKS EMMIE!!!

Well the 1st part of the Nursery is completed! We have painted the walls a beautiful blue!!! Fabric is all picked out and adorable stripes & polka dots will look awesome for his drapes/bedding! The accent decorations will be choo choo trains! :) Jet helped daddy put some of the tape on the baseboards and then he loved to watch daddy in action :) Stay tuned.......we will update you with more pictures as it comes together!!

4th of July FUN!

We had a FUN 4th of July! We hope you did too!! We spent the day with Aunt Bon Bon and Uncle John and their friend Grant. We enjoyed a pool day and yummy ribs at their house and then we went to Mt. Dora's 4th of July festival to play and watch fireworks! It was great!! Below are some pictures from our fun holiday :) Enjoy!!

Illinois Trip was Awesome!

Our time home was too short as always, but we had a wonderful time with everyone!! We spent a few days at my dads and then headed to Allendale to see almost my entire mom's side of the family! Jet did great on the airplane rides as usual, he is such a big boy, it is really amazing. He only had one accident the entire 6 day trip with potty training, which is fantastic!! We even had to stop on the side of the road one night to let him potty, cause we weren't close to a town. :) He did it!!

We really enjoyed a day at the St. Louis Zoo! It had been so long since I was there, I forgot how wonderful this zoo is....its HUGE and so much to see!! Below are some pictures of our fun at the zoo!

We really enjoyed our time with Grandpa and Ju Ju! This was a cute picture we took eating out one night with them :)









We spent a few days at my Great Grandma Kight's house with my mom's side of family! Jet loved playing outside with everyone, he would play baseball for a bit, then switch to golft, then back to baseball! :)
