Landon turns 1!!!

Landon turned one last week and we went to Birmingham to celebrate with family and friends!! I was so thrilled that my grandparents and sisters came down for the party!!! 

We also celebrated cousin Sydney's birthday, she turned 4 two days before Landon turned 1. :) So we had a princess party at lunchtime and an Owl party at dinnertime......it was quite a day!! But a lot of fun! 

Landon's party was decorated in an OWL theme! I found some cool ideas on pinterest and Emmie, of course, brought them to life! He had an owl shaped party cake and a round smash cake which you will see in some pictures....the older kids had more fun "smashing" then Landon!

Landon's 1st haircut!!!

Emmie & I took Landon for his 1st haircut this week! He has so much hair and the back was getting very mullet-ish...so it was time :(  I couldn't believe it, at barely 11 months old he sat up in the chair like he was 30 years old and let her cut his hair!!!! Celebrating 5 years!!

Clint and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary last week! He took me to Isla Mujeres, a little Island off of Cancun, Mexico. We had the best time.......very relaxing and loved the island! The past 5 years have been the best years of my life and I look forward to many, many more!! Thank you for being a wonderful, hard working, supportive, caring husband!! You are the best daddy too!! Love you!  

Jet's Puzzles & Landon's steps!

Landon turned 10 months old last week and he took his 1st steps!! He is growing up way to fast! He isn't consistently walking yet...but he is taking a few steps here and there!! Below are some pictures I took the other night of him walking and of the boys playing outside today.

Jetty has been VERY busy putting together puzzles! Every puzzle he has in his room just about, he has knocked out the past two days! :) He has a few large floor puzzles and then lots of smaller table puzzles.....I'm not sure what has gotten into him, but he is having a ball and completing them all by himself!!
